Huracán, which was notably harmed by the refereeing, lost this Sunday 1-0 in its visit to Barracas Central in the Lanús stadium and the local team is still involved in the fight for qualification to the next phase in Zone A of the League Cup.
Alexis Domínguez, 11 minutes into the first half, gave Barracas the early advantage, but at the same stage the show of controversies began for the benefit of the team that reaped the three points.
The thing is that “Globo” had a goal disallowed in the 28th minute due to a non-existent forward position, while a penalty was not sanctioned in the 33rd minute for a hit in the area by Rodrigo Insua on Hernán De La Fuente.
Despite the refereeing errors, in the second half Huracán went in search of an equalizer with more drive than ideas and was close to finding it with the help of Ignacio Pussetto, but a header from the forward crashed into one of the posts.
Without generating great situations in the final minutes except for another shot on the post by Marcelo Pérez, the Parque Patricios team left the “Granate” stadium empty-handed and remains in the bottom positions in Zone A with nine units.
Barracas, for its part, reached 19 points and was two away from the lead, with three days left until the close of the first instance of the competition.
