WASHINGTON (EFE).— U.S. President Joe Biden, former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, as well as former presidential candidate and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, will support Vice President and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris at the Democratic National Convention.

The meeting will take place in Chicago between Monday and Thursday, the 22nd.

The first details of the agenda released by the American media indicate that there will be speeches by the current occupant of the White House, the two former presidents and Hillary Clinton, who was the Democratic Party candidate in 2016.

Biden and Hillary Clinton will speak on Monday, Obama on Tuesday and Bill Clinton on Wednesday, CBS News said of an event whose schedule has not yet been announced.

Kamala’s deputy, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, is expected to accept the nomination on Wednesday, and she will close out the convention on Thursday with her official inaugural address.

The vice president on Friday obtained the votes necessary to mathematically become the Democratic Party’s nominee for the November 5 elections, a threshold that must be reached with 1,976 delegates.

She ended up winning 99% of the votes of the 4,567 delegates of her party, which made her the first black woman to compete for the Presidency of the United States.
