After patrolling and intelligence work, military personnel assigned to Detachment No. 114 of Zone Command No. 11 of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) confronted a subject who was wanted for the crime of extortion, hitmen and theft of strategic material in the municipality of La Cañada de Urdaneta in the state of Zulia.
The alleged criminal identified as Adonai Pérez Roder, alias “El Adonai”, 26 years old, upon observing the military commission and finding himself cornered, confronted them with a 38 mm caliber firearm, resulting in them being killed, Final Version announced.
Apparently he was the leader of a gang in the area.
At the site, a revolver-type firearm, three fired 38 caliber cartridges and one unfired 38 caliber cartridge were seized.
According to investigations, “el Adonai” kept the population of La Cañada de Urdaneta plagued and was wanted by the 6th Court of Control of the state of Zulia for the crime of illicit trafficking of strategic material.
The procedure was notified to the Public Ministry.
