Le Web à Québec back in person from May 24 to 26 | Isarta Info

May 17, 2022

The colorful and unique Web à Québec (WAQ), presented by Ubisoft, will be back following two years of virtual presence. For the first time in its 11 years of existence, the WAQ will be held in a sunnier format, at the Terminal – Port of Québec from May 24 to 26. In addition to bringing together web professionals, the team of volunteers behind the WAQ will offer more than 80 conferences and activities that are as entertaining as they are enriching.

As usual, the largest French-language digital event in North America will fly over current Web trends grouped around four thematic tracks:

  • Communications and Marketing
  • Design
  • Development
  • L’innovation

The programming committee is proud to welcome internationally renowned experts such as Piera Gelardi (co-founder and former executive creative director at Refinery29), Daniel Lamarre (Executive Vice-President of the Cirque du Soleil Board of Directors), John Belanger (President and CEO, Premier Tech), Ravy Por (Executive Director and Leader of the Center of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies at KPMG and Founder of Heroes from Home), Tina Touli (creative director and designer of graphic communication) and Katie Martell (owner of Rabble Rouser Productions).

The people on site, at the Terminal – Port of Quebec, will have an enriching experience with the different zones and activities that will be propelled by the partners. Thus, the WAQ will offer the community its famous 5 to 7 inflamed, gourmet snacks and surprising activities that will entertain the most eager for fun. Always mindful of the sanitary measures in place, the team will make sure to provide a safe environment for all.

Students will be able to participate for free in the virtual portion of the WAQ by presenting proof of education.

All tickets offered for the WAQ include virtual access as well as replay access for 90 days.

The notoriety of the WAQ is well established in my eyes. Such a gathering of experts, community partners and web artisans provides fertile ground for generating ideas and for transposing industry innovation into our public administration. Quebec citizens and businesses always come out the winners of this collaboration and these exchanges,” says Éric Caire, Minister of Cybersecurity and Digital and Minister responsible for Access to Information and the Protection of Personal Information

Recognized as THE reference by all industry players, the Web in Quebec is a real playground for all digital professionals! Created for and by the digital community, you can hardly find a better event to address all the challenges of the digital world for communications and marketing, innovation, design and development! » adds Dominic Goulet, General Manager of Quebec Digital
