Bottled drinking water producer Le Minerale asserted that it is an Indonesian company and is not affiliated with Israel. The assertion was delivered in response to the boycott by the public against a number of products accused of being affiliated with or supporting the Zionist state.
“Our ownership is 100% Indonesian. Our employees are 100% Indonesian citizens, and our company’s products, both in bottles and gallons, are entirely produced in Indonesia,” said Le Minerale Marketing Director Febri Satria Hutama in an official statement.
He saw the boycott of products made by multinational companies affiliated with Israel starting to have an impact, including in Indonesia. The problem is, the phenomenon is often exploited by a number of parties by presenting content that includes domestic products.
Febri revealed that various types of attacks in the form of disinformation to discredit the AMDK produced by the company continued to emerge and were carried out by irresponsible parties.
In addition to not being affiliated with Israel, Le Minerale also shows its commitment to supporting Palestine in the name of humanity by sending hundreds of tons of products. The aid was brought through the Indonesian Navy for the Palestinian people.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Secretary General of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Ikhsan Abdullah confirmed that e Minerale has no affiliation with the Zionist occupation efforts in Palestine.
He also appreciated the company for having a strong commitment, not only limited to statements of attitude and forms of empathy but also real support in line with Indonesia’s foreign policy, namely helping Palestine. (Ant/Z-11)
