Lazy Comeback, This Singer Claims to be Dead

Jakarta

singer from Taiwan, Liu Wen-cheng, seems to be comfortable with his leisurely days. He refused to return to singing and carrying out activities as before.

Even for the sake of carrying out his intention, Liu Wen-cheng faked his death. He did this because he was asked to make a comeback.

The lie was eventually exposed by his manager, Hsia Yu-shun. He was also the one who announced Liu Wen-cheng’s death in November 2022.

At that time, Hsia Yu-shun gave a statement that his artist died of a heart attack. But now, he gave another confession.

“He (Liu Wen-cheng) is still alive in this world,” said Hsia Yu-shun as reported by the Taipei Times, Saturday (18/2/2023).

“However, he will no longer appear in public. That’s why he asked me to make an obituary of his death to prevent repeated requests for a comeback,” said Hsia Yu-shun.

At that time, the 70-year-old singer received an offer to hold a 50-concert tour in China. He will be given 2 billion Taiwan dollars or Rp 1 trillion.

“But Liu is not interested. He has retired from his prime and it is definitely not possible to wait until he is 70 to hold concerts,” said Hsia Yu-shun.

But in the end Liu Wen-cheng realize lying in this case is not right. He also wanted his fans to know he was still alive.

“So, I announced the clarification,” said Hsia Yu-shun.

Even so, at the end of last year, Liu Wen-cheng did have a myocardial infarction, a decrease in blood flow in the coronary arteries due to an occlusion. However, now he is healthy and is in Las Vegas, United States.

However, a different statement was made by Liu Wen-cheng’s aunt, Lily Lee Levin, who received news that her nephew was in the Philippines.
