Lazio Rome won Wednesday against Sassuolo (2-0), postponing the eventual coronation of Naples until Thursday, which still needs a point in Udine to secure the third title in its history, during the 33rd day.
Lazio won thanks to goals from Filipe Anderson (14th) and Toma Basic (92nd) and are provisionally fifteen points behind the Neapolitan leader, with five matches remaining to be played until the end of the season, i.e. 15 points to take as much as possible.
A draw against Udinese on Thursday evening will therefore be enough for Napoli to mathematically ensure its third scudetto, after the two offered by Diego Maradona more than 30 years ago (1987, 1990).
Milan hooked, Inter a hit
The bad operation of the evening was carried out by AC Milan, hung 1-1 at San Siro by the Cremonese, relegated (19th). Dominating, the defending champions rossoneri were surprised on an incursion by David Okereke who played central defenders Malick Thiaw and Pierre Kalulu to deceive Mike Maignan (77th). They snatched the equalizer in added time by Junior Messias (90 + 3rd).
Milan slips to 6th place in the standings, two lengths behind Inter Milan (4th) who walked on the field of Hellas Verona (6-0), and tied on points with Atalanta Bergamo ( 5th), victorious over La Spezia (3-2), and Roma (7th), hanging on to Monza (1-1).
