Lázár is silent while everyone wants his head because of the collapse of MÁV

A week and a half ago, at a press conference called “Transport Info”, he outlined the government’s large-scale transformation plans with the five-point transport action plan John LazarusMinister of Transport. Since then, in the last couple of days, rail traffic has almost completely collapsed, and with it, Lázár has also disappeared from the public eye, even though more and more people are calling for him to resign.

On Saturday, a rail broke on the Balaton-Budapest line, stopping all traffic, causing rarely seen chaos and delays. On Sunday evening, traffic stopped at the Keleti railway station because an Intercity derailed, possibly because a part of the gearbox broke. The busiest train station had to be closed, and traffic will not be restored until Tuesday morning. The crash may have affected a hundred thousand passengers. On Monday, first the Nyugati railway station fell due to a rail break on the Cegléd line, and then there were huge delays at the Southern railway station as well, due to an accident.

It’s lucky that there is no Northern Railway Station

reacted to the chaos Peter Magyarthe chairman of the Tisza party, who believes that János Lázár should resign.

Dávid Vitézyformer state secretary of transport, also questioned Lázár’s responsibility. “Well, does the lettuce warranty last?” he asked the poetic question Vitézy, according to which Lázár or the lettuce will last longer (Liz Trussa former British prime minister was challenged by a British tabloid at the time with a lettuce, the lettuce won).

Péter Márki-Zayhis former Prime Minister candidate, the People’s Party of Everyone’s Hungary, also called on Lázár to resign, as he is unable to “stop the collapse of the MÁV”.

And the LMP would listen to Lázár in the economic committee because of the national traffic crisis.

Lázár did not speak out until the publication of our article due to the railway chaos, the MÁV videos about the renovated stations and lines look strange in the current situation on his social media page, and perhaps the most bizarre thing is that a few days after he announced that transport is a fundamental right and a separate in post also remembered, the railway transport collapsed, about which our readers share real horror stories with our editors.
