CHAIRMAN of the National Leadership Council of the Indonesian Advocates Association (DPN Peradi) Otto Hasibuan confirmed that his party would provide input regarding law enforcement in the government of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
“We will later provide input to the future government so that law enforcement can run well,” said Otto in Jakarta, Friday (3/5).
According to him, law enforcement is not only regarding taking action once morest corruption and other crimes, law enforcement must also provide justice that can be felt directly by the community.
This is done by ensuring that all small communities who are victims because their rights are taken away, can get justice through the applicable legal process.
“There are still many general crime issues that concern communities in all corners of Indonesia that do not receive attention from the government,” he said.
It is in this area, continued Otto, that his party and Peradi will continue to provide input to the government so that the law enforcement process in Indonesia can run fairly.

“We will improve what we have achieved so far, which is already good,” said Otto.
Previously, in the legal-themed presidential and vice-presidential debate on Tuesday (12/12/2023), Prabowo explained several ways for law enforcement institutions and the courts to be independent and fair.
One of the methods offered by Prabowo is to improve the quality of life of law enforcers and judges throughout Indonesia.
“I will improve the quality of life for all judges in Indonesia, all workers around the courts and all law enforcers so that they cannot be bribed and cannot be corrupted,” said Prabowo during the first round of debate held at the General Election Commission (KPU) building.
Prabowo believes this method can cover the intentions of judges and other law enforcers to carry out corruptive actions. (Ant/J-2)
