Lavrov said that Europeans face poverty due to sanctions against Russia

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov believes that many residents of European countries are threatened with poverty due to sanctions once morest Russia.

Lavrov is confident that living standards are deteriorating in Europe, growth rates are slowing down and inflation is rising.

“There was even the concept of “new poor”. People are suffering from upcoming problems, including rising prices. Poverty threatens many,” he said in an interview with Radio and Television of the Republika Srpska.

According to him, the FRG “announced that it was important for them not to support the Germans”, but “to allocate $100 billion for the militarization of their country.” Some may not be as innocuous as Germany’s announcement of its intention to become Europe’s leading military power, he added.
