In Brazil, adherence to Black Friday grows year after year. Proof of this, on average, eight out of every ten (85%) consumers intend to go shopping on that date. This is an increase of five percentage points in the number of interested parties compared to the number registered in 2023, according to data from a recent balance conducted by Mercado Livre and Mercado Pago.
Also according to the research “Panorama do Consumo Black Friday 2024”, shared by InfoMoneyseven out of ten (70%) Brazilians plan their purchases in advance, while 30% declared that they are aware of opportunities.
Raphael Marques, CEO of #1 Lavanderia Express, analyzes the current franchise market positively. “With the action planned by #1 Lavanderia Express for Black Friday 2024, the company hopes to contribute to market growth in underserved regions, where the segment is not strong.”
Franchises in the cleaning and conservation area earned more than R$1.9 billion in 2023, according to data from the Brazilian Franchising Association (ABF). In 2022, the revenue of these companies was R$1.6 billion – a growth of 13.5%.
“The company’s expectations for the promotional action are positive. With the campaign, we hope to expand the brand in Brazil and in specific regions”, adds Marques. According to information released by the company, #1 Lavanderia expects to reach 300 units in 2024. São Paulo is the Brazilian state with the largest number of franchise units, spread across 44 addresses.
Recently, the self-service laundry franchise reached the milestone of 210 units in 22 Brazilian states. The company was born in 2018, in Belém (PA), and held its most recent inauguration in the city of Barra de São Francisco (ES), in August.
According to the CEO, the company invested in publicizing the campaign to communicate the discounts through Meta tools. The action targets entrepreneurs who are already running a business or who want to start in the world of entrepreneurship.
