Burj Al Shamal Medical Hospital in Arar, affiliated to the Northern Borders Health Department, launched the fast track for injuries, which aims to speed up the provision of emergency services, provide emergency medical care to beneficiaries in record times, and the consequent increase in chances of saving lives, and support the ambulance service.
The inauguration included a visual presentation simulating a case of multiple injuries in the head and chest with loss of consciousness, explaining the path and mechanism for activating the injury code. All the services provided and training programs that were provided for the success of the Multiple Injury Center, which is the first in the region, were identified.
It is noteworthy that the North Medical Tower in Arar provided emergency and treatment services to more than 350,000 beneficiaries during the first half of the current year, including ambulance and emergency services for 56,021 beneficiaries, in addition to serving 41,128 beneficiaries in the clinics’ departments, while it was also able to conduct 257,831 laboratory tests and 1,167 surgeries. .
