It was recently revealed that Everspace 2 is finally regarding to get a console version, more than two years following its PC Early Access premiere and official full release in April. In the console launch trailer, it was revealed that the game will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X on May 15th. Everspace 2 will be included with Game Pass from day one, and when Rockfish Games CEO Michael Schade recently visited the Xbox Expansion Pass podcast, he talked regarding it, claiming that it benefits everyone because the team gets a long-term Years of extra development time: “We might have made Everspace 2 without Xbox Game Pass, but it would have been a smaller game.
