Launching an initiative to raise awareness of reproductive health and family planning in Qalyubia

The executive bodies in Qalyubia Governorate held an initiative to raise awareness of reproductive health and family planning through the presidential initiative “You have the right to organize”, in the presence of Dr. Nermin Adly, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Benha University for Community Service and Environmental Development, organizer of the meeting of the Community Participation Committee, and Reda Abdel Rahim, Director of Population Unit and Central Statistics Department In the governorate, Naglaa El-Farmawy, director of the Human Rights and Youth Initiatives Unit in the governorate, and a large number of community service doctors in Benha Medicine, within the framework of continuous integration and cooperation between the governorate, Benha City Council and Benha University in the field of local development for society and the environment.

The conference dealt with raising awareness of the concept of family planning and reproductive health through the presidential initiative “You have the right to organize”, where there was talk regarding the importance of family planning and the importance of a pre-marriage medical examination to ensure the safety and health of the couple who are regarding to get married.

Family planning methods and their types and how to use them were also reviewed. The symposium also addressed the human right to belong to a healthy family and enjoy all its human rights through family planning. It should be noted that improving population characteristics and indicators and moving forward with family planning steps in Egypt has become a necessity. An urgent need to bring regarding comprehensive and sustainable development in accordance with Egypt’s vision 2030, and for every citizen on the land of this country to feel the fruits of development, as the population increase annually devours all development efforts and the returns of the great achievements that are made on the land of Egypt.

In a related context, Major General Abdel Hamid Al-Hagan, Governor of Qalyubia, chaired the leaders’ committee meeting to test applicants for the position of deputy head of a center, city or neighborhood, which was announced in the governorate’s general office, in order to choose the most efficient and appropriate to improve the work system and provide better services to citizens in implementation of the political leadership’s directives and in accordance with the vision Egypt 2030, and the Sustainable Development Strategy.

This came in the presence of Major General Hisham Khashaba, Secretary General, Counselor Salah Salem, Legal Adviser to the Governorate, Rasha Mohamed, Director of the Directorate of Organization and Administration, Dr. Yasser Mahmoud, Director of the Directorate of Education, Khaled Abdel Alim, Director of the Social Solidarity Directorate, Dr. Tariq El Sheshtawy, Professor at the Faculty of Computers and Information at Benha University and members of the committee. the problem.

During the meeting, personal interviews were conducted with the applicants to choose the best elements to fill these positions in accordance with the provisions of the law and the previously announced conditions.

The Governor of Qalweba explained that the governorate always seeks to select qualified personnel to occupy leadership positions who have the ability to develop work rates in accordance with the rules and principles of efficiency and transparency, pointing out that the selection among applicants is made in accordance with the criteria and conditions, allowing the presence of qualified elements to fill the position to develop work performance with the aim of providing services It is better for citizens, in addition to getting to know the human capabilities of each applicant, the achievements he achieved, the qualifications he obtained, his familiarity with the general rules of the computer, as well as the performance evaluation reports, and the identification of the development proposal for the advancement of the system in which he works.
