The Republic of Cape Verde decided to perpetuate the memory of the king of world football by naming his name on its national stadium. And Gianni Infantino, President of the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA), had called, a few days ago, for all countries to name one of their football stadiums after the Brazilian football icon, Pele. Pele, the only player in history to win the World Cup three times, died on the twenty-ninth of last December, in a hospital in Sao Paulo after a long struggle with cancer.
