Since the iOS 16 arrived in September of last year, iPhone users can customize the locked screen however they want. It is possible, for example, to change the color and font of the clock, add widgets and create unique wallpapers with a series of cool effects.
Something that many should still miss, however, is a way to quickly access applications when the iPhone is locked — following all, since 2017 (with the arrival of the iPhone X and iOS 11), Apple has only made two shortcuts available natively: the flashlight and camera.
Combining the useful with the pleasant, the Lock Launcher is an app that seeks to remedy this “problem”, allowing you to place shortcuts on the locked screen and even on the Dynamic Island (Dynamic Island). They are able to open other applications, websites, automations or any link customized by the user.
If the user is running iOS 16.1 or higher, the tool shows a row of app icons at the bottom of the locked screen as if it were a Live Activity. In addition, the tool has eight widgets that can be inserted into the panel next to the clock.
The application allows you to freely customize two widgets and a box with apps to be used in the Activities Live feature. To unlock the full power of Lock Launcher, you need to upgrade to the Pro version, which costs R$11.
