Two months before the 6th edition (October 7-8), the Rotary Club of Bagnères-de-Bigorre has unveiled the poster for its Festival du Rire. That is six one man shows, DJ evening, meal, etc.

Comedians Antek, Léa Crevon, Cédric Chartier, David Buniak, Evelyn David and Antoine Boussard, alias “Les Apollons”, as well as Tiffany Botelli will be featured in the 6th edition of the Festival du Rire organized by the Rotary Club of Bagnères- de-Bigorre. Meet on October 7 and 8 at the Halle aux Grains for this 100% humorous event which, over the years, has confirmed that it has its place in the spa town’s programming.

Combine humor and promotion of the territory

“The objective is to perpetuate a cultural and friendly event in Bagnères-de-Bigorre but also to ensure the functions of the Rotary Club by raising funds for social action and mutual aid and, finally, to make know our beautiful region at the foot of the Pyrenees and the Pic du Midi de Bigorre”, underlines the president of the Rotary Club, Jonathan Barclay. A triple objective which visibly bears fruit since its launch in 2015, first in the form of an evening of improvisation before taking its current format, the festival has continued to grow, attracting ever more spectators. but also increasingly well-known comedians. Among the artists who passed through Bagnères, we can cite Gil Alma,

Nilson José, Didou, Marcus or even Jovani. Without forgetting Antek, Public Prize 2021 which earned him to be the headliner of this new edition where he returns with his one man show entitled “Heureux”. A member of the Jamel Comedy Club troupe and resident humorist at Kev Adams’ Fridge Comedy Room and the Paname Art Café, Antek was also invited to open for Marrakech du Rire in 2019. In short, a size of humor whose Léa Crevon should follow suit in the years to come. Prix ​​des Partenaires 2021, she is now cutting her teeth alongside Jeanfi Janssens. After their one man show on Friday, a set of four comedians from different worlds will be offered the next day.

New in 2022

Building on the success of previous editions, Rotary remains faithful to the DNA of this event placed under the sign of humor but not without making some improvements. Thus, for this 2022 edition, “we wanted to offer you a variety of universes each evening, promote conviviality and humor by focusing on the essentials, introduce you to a local artist among the six artists with different universes, and offer to our festive public to be able to have the fever with a Saturday evening evening which will continue at the concert hall of L’Alamzic in partnership with Le Cartel Bigourdan”, invites the association.

“The atmosphere and conviviality will be present throughout the evening in the convivial space where the band “Les Konkis’Ador” will be responsible for the musical entertainment”, invite the Rotarians who will also be involved of these two evenings, in particular on the side of the refreshment bar.
