On March 28, the Little Hall will host the premiere of Charles Perrault’s “Tomcat in Boots,” a production directed by vija blūzma. This puppet show, recommended for children five and up, follows the “adventurous and wise adventures” of the titular feline and his friendship with Jack.
Blūzma assembled a team of experienced artists to create a visually and musically stunning show. Anita Znutiņa-Scheve designed the puppets and costumes, while Ineta Sipunova crafted the scenography and video projections. Composer Mikus Frišfelds created the musical mood, and Gvido Āboliņš developed the light score. Actors Anrijs Sirmais, Santa Didžus, Kristin Varsa, and Martins Gailis will bring the puppets to life.

The Chamber Hall will present a special production for the very young on March 29: “Clean Tooth and Ball.” This show, directed by Dana Avotina-Lace, is tailored for children aged nine months and older. It’s designed as “an interactive conversation and play” using feelings, touch, sound, and visual elements to foster an interest in dental care.
The production aims to make learning about teeth brushing a fun and engaging experience. As every family celebrates the arrival of a first tooth, the theater offers a playful introduction to the joy of taking care of them.
Vita Radzina designed the visual elements and dolls, Uģis Jansons-Krastiņš created the music, and Arta kronberg developed the lighting. Actresses Ruth Dišler and Irina Coast will guide the audience through this interactive and warm journey.
