Talks underway, according to NBC
The Ukrainian presidency is in embarrassment after the revelations of the American television channel NBCindicating that talks would be underway to define what Ukraine might have to give up to secure a peace deal with Russia.
Representatives from more than 50 countries that support Ukraine, including NATO members, reportedly raised the topic last month, according to several senior U.S. officials. “I am here to discuss Ukraine’s path to EU membership,” as well as financial support from the EU “to rebuild Ukraine as a modern and prosperous democracy”, she said upon her arrival at kyiv station where she was welcomed by Volodymyr Zelensky.
