The Disciplinary Committee of the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) granted Mahmoud Abdel Moneim “Kahraba”, the Al-Ahly club player, a new period of two months to pay the fine imposed on him in favor of the Zamalek club.
Last Thursday, the Appeal Committee of the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) held a hearing regarding “Kahraba”, who was required to pay a fine of regarding two million and 400 thousand US dollars in favor of the Zamalek club due to the unilateral termination of its contract in 2019.
The FIFA Disciplinary Committee decided to fine the player in addition to suspending him for six months due to his termination of his contract with Zamalek and moving to Portuguese club Deportivo Avish in the summer of 2019, before the suspension was lifted from the player later and obligated him to pay the fine. Zamalek demanded that FIFA suspend the player once more following he was late in paying the fine, so that FIFA would hold a session on August 3 to decide on the case.
A source close to the player said in exclusive statements to winwin: “FIFA gave the player another two months to pay the fine before considering the case once more.”
On the other hand, a source in Zamalek club confirmed in exclusive statements to winwin that the club was informed of the decision of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee to grant the player an additional period of two months to pay the fine.
