The Casablanca Stock Exchange closed its trading higher this Friday, January 5, 2024, the MASI having increased by 0.72% to 12,368.94 points.

On a sectoral level, the real estate participation and development index recorded the largest increase (+3.11%), while the leisure and hotels index recorded the largest decline (-2.48%). .

The overall volume of trade reached 199.75 million dirhams (MDH), mainly carried out on the Central market (Shares) and dominated by transactions on Alliances (50.63 MDH), CFG Bank (30.09 MDH) and Attijariwafa Bank (19,57 MDH).

The market capitalization stood at nearly 640.63 billion dirhams.

Regarding values, the largest increases were recorded by Alliances (+7.12% to 139.25 dirhams), Stroc Industrie (+4.58% to 30.85 DH), Smi (+3.36 % to 1,415 DH), Taqa Morocco (+2.91% to 1,168 DH) and Zellidja SA (+2.67% to 78.95 DH).

On the other hand, Stokvis North Africa (-3.7% to 10.67 DH), Risma (-1.96% to 200 DH), Cosumar (-1.83% to 196.35 DH), Sodep-Marsa Morocco ( -1.54% to 275.5 DH) and Disty Technologies (-1.53% to 187.1 DH) recorded the biggest declines.
