The Casablanca Stock Exchange was in the red on Friday mid-session, the MASI dropping 0.12% to 11,973.98 points (pts).
The MASI.20, an index comprising the 20 most liquid stocks, and the MASI.ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG rating, as published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, fell respectively by 0.14% to 970.71 pts , and 0.19% to 896.92 pts.
The MASI Mid and Small Cap, thematic index which calculates the price performance of small and medium-sized companies listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, dropped 0.02% to 963.39 pts.
On the international side, the FTSE CSE Morocco 15, made up of the 15 main stocks on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, classified by market capitalization, fell by 0.21% to 11,047.98 pts, and the FTSE CSE Morocco All-Liquid, benchmark index which traces the performance of all liquid stocks on the stock market, fell 0.23% to 10,032.67 pts.
On an individual level, the biggest drops were recorded by Stokvis Nord Afrique (-5.73% to 12.02 dirhams (DH)), Cartier Saada (-2.76% to 23.63 DH), Auto Hall (- 2.07% at 78 DH), Afma (-1.96% at 1,301 DH) and Risma (-1.71% at 216 DH).
On the other hand, Med Paper (+1.07% at 25.5 DH), Bmci (+1.04% at 485 DH), Hps (+0.83% at 5,950 DH), Cih (+0.32% at 349.6 DH) and Aradei Capital (+0.23% to 442 DH) posted the highest increases.
