New delay in the context of the tram construction site in Liège. This Wednesday, the works managers announced that the temporary closure of the Atlas Bridge will be extended until the end of October 2023.

The second phase of the work, which involves widening the bridge on the upstream side, will continue until the end of 2023.

The following deviations remain in application for motorists: coming from Liège Center via the Kennedy bridge or the Arches bridge, coming from the Saint-Léonard district via the Maghin bridge and the Bressoux bridge and coming from Coronmeuse via the Marexhe bridge and the Monsin Dam bridge.

At the end of this work, the bridge will be completely reopened, in both directions, for all users. As a reminder, the Atlas Bridge remains accessible for pedestrians and cyclists.
