Panarin, who played his first two seasons in the National Hockey League with the Blackhawks, collected at least one point in a sixth straight game. He has 53 in 37 games this season.
Chris Kreider, Jacob Trouba and Jimmy Vesey were the other scorers for the Rangers, who bounced back from a 6-1 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday. The New York team is 10-1-0 this season in games following a loss.
Vincent Trocheck collected three assists and Igor Shesterkin made 21 saves in the victory. The Russian goaltender has a record of 16-8-0 this season.

Johnny Gaudreau scored the deciding goal in the shootout and the Columbus Blue Jackets came from behind to win 3-2 once morest the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday.
The first Blue Jackets player to start, Gaudreau was the only scorer in the shootout. At the other end of the ice, Daniil Tarasov ended the game with a glove save once morest Tyson Foerster.
Damon Severson and Jake Bean scored in the third period to force overtime. Tarasov made 39 saves for the Blue Jackets, who have won just two of their last seven games.
Selected to participate in the All-Star game earlier in the evening, Travis Konecny scored both goals for the Flyers. The Pennsylvania team has lost its last four games and six of its last seven.
Joel Farabee and Sean Couturier were complicit in Konecny’s two goals.
Samuel Ersson blocked 26 shots for the Flyers, who were playing their first home game since December 21.

Sidney Crosby broke a tie midway through the third period on Thursday, guiding the Pittsburgh Penguins to a 6-5 victory over the Boston Bruins.
Crosby scored his 22nd goal this season at 11:19, on the power play.
His wrist shot deflected once morest Hampus Lindholm, seven seconds into a penalty imposed on Charlie McAvoy (collision).
McAvoy was in the penalty box for the second time in the third period. He had delayed the match at the start of the engagement.
Crosby also took part in goals from Ryan Graves and Jake Guentzel.
Drew O’Connor, Lars Eller and Jeff Carter were the other scorers for the Penguins, who have won four of their last five games.
Brad Marchand scored twice for the Bruins, who lost for the first time in five games.
David Pastrnak had a goal and three points.

Robert Thomas had a goal and an assist to help the St. Louis Blues defeat the Vancouver Canucks 2-1 on Thursday.
Thomas, who was selected to play in his first National Hockey League (NHL) All-Star Game earlier in the evening, broke a 1-1 tie at 8:03 of the third period. It was his 16th goal of the season, a record for the Blues.
Colton Parayko also hit the target for the Missouri team, which had lost its two previous games. Jordan Binnington made 25 saves to improve his record to 12-11-1 since the start of the campaign.
Conor Garland found the back of the net for the Canucks, who had won eight of their last 11 games before this matchup. Thatcher Demko stopped 30 shots.
The Canucks haven’t won in regulation in their last six visits to St. Louis.
Defenseman Quinn Hughes saw his five-game point streak end, but was chosen to represent the Canucks in the All-Star Game for the fourth time in five full NHL seasons.

Fleury remains at 550 wins, one victory away from joining Patrick Roy in second place in history in this regard.

Nathan MacKinnon completed a double in overtime on Thursday, allowing the Colorado Avalanche to win 5-4 over the Dallas Stars.
MacKinnon scored his 22nd goal of the campaign at 3:40 in overtime, giving his team a fourth straight victory.
He ended the debate on a breakaway following a clever pass to himself through the tape, at the expense of Tyler Seguin.
Jonathan Drouin (twice) and Mikko Rantanen also scored for Colorado, while Alexandar Georgiev blocked 28 shots.
Rantanen tied the game 4-4 with 1:09 left in the third period with his 20th goal of the season.
Seguin scored two goals for the Stars, who had won their last three overtimes.
