A 19-year-old man, apparently a student at the Nueva Granada Military University, was murdered in the Salitre neighborhood of Bogotá in an attempted robbery. According to a preliminary version of the authorities, the young man had withdrawn some money and had exchanged it for a few euros, later he went to take public transport and there he was intercepted by the criminals.
In the struggle, the criminals, who were traveling on a motorcycle, would have shot him in the face and taken the suitcase he was carrying, on Esperanza Avenue with Carrera 69, in western Bogotá.
After being attacked, the young university student Michael Sebastián Valverde Gómez was transferred to the Colombia Clinic, a few meters from the place, but he died.

The authorities arrived at the place and, according to the first statements, it would have been two subjects who injured the young man aboard a motorcycle and fled. And it is that Valverde Gómez arrived at the medical center without his belongings.
What regarding insecurity in Bogotá?

Hours following the crime occurred, the Bogotá Ombudsman announced that the victim had gone to the authorities to report what would be a situation of violence once morest him. It should be noted that she did it four days before she was murdered by her ex-partner.
