This Sunday the 16th, the president of the Council of Ministers, Mirtha Vásquez, accompanied by the Minister of Agrarian Development and Irrigation, Víctor Maita, arrived in the city of Cusco to set up a technical table focused on agrarian development since the second reform. They were welcomed by the regional governor, Jean Paul Benavente, and the provincial mayor, Víctor Boluarte.
The head of the PCM remarked that, during this Government, they will support much more agriculture and the small farmer who works day by day providing food to the country.
Regional and provincial authorities and Cusco agrarian organizations participated in the technical table.
“We want to propose a short, medium and long-term agenda, because we are not going to solve all the complex problems that have been mentioned overnight,” Vásquez responded to the exposition of the problems that farmers are going through.
