Pedro Castillo on demonstrations in the Center of Lima: “When we have taken the streets, we have done it peacefully, not throwing stones”
The president of the Republic, peter castlespoke regarding the marches that took place last Tuesday in the streets of the capital, where vandals destroyed private properties and public entities, such as the Public ministrythe Superior Court of Justice of Lima and the National Election Jury.
During the Minister council in the city of Huancane, in the region of A lots ofthe president stressed that, when he was a union leader, he “never” hurt any police officer during the protests in which he was a part.
“We have not come to hurt anyone, we never have, we never would. We have not done it neither in our youth of students, nor of teachers nor of ronderos. In those times, when we have taken to the streets, we have done it peacefully, not throwing stones at the windows, not taking a knife to the street or intimidating the police brother”, said the president.
