US and NATO “indirectly participate” de facto in Ukraine “conflict”, says Kremlin

The United States and NATO are indirectly participating in the “conflict” in Ukraine, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Tuesday.
“Although both Brussels and Washington emphasize that they are not going to become a party to the conflict, in fact, they have already become an indirect side of this conflict, pumping Ukraine with weapons, technologies and intelligence,” Peskov told reporters in a regular briefing.
Peskov echoed an earlier statement made by Russia’s Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, who said on Monday that Russia is fighting with NATO, particularly the United States and Britain, in Ukraine.
“The events in Ukraine are not a confrontation between Moscow and Kyiv, it is a military confrontation of NATO, particularly the United States and England, against Russia. Fearing direct contact, NATO instructors are leading Ukrainians to death safe,” Patrushev said in an interview with Russia’s state-run newspaper Argumenti i Fakti.
Patrushev added that Russia “is liberating its regions from occupation and must put an end to the bloody experiment of the West to destroy the brotherly Ukrainian people.”
“We are not at war with Ukraine, because by definition we cannot have hatred towards ordinary Ukrainians,” he said.
According to Patrushev, “the sooner the citizens of Ukraine realize that the West is fighting Russia with their (Ukrainians’) hands, the more lives will be saved.”
“The entire history of Ukraine started in Washington to develop the technologies to delimit and pit people united against each other,” Patrushev said.
