According to Eurostat, economic activity in the euro zone increased by 0.3% during the second quarter of the year.
Economic activity in the Eurozone increased by 0.3% during the second quarter of the year, while GDP for the European Union as a whole remained stable during the same period.

Eurostat thus maintains its quarterly estimates published at the end of July for the countries of the euro zone and for the EU as a whole.
During the first quarter of 2023, economic activity remained stable in the single currency countries and increased by 0.2% in the EU, while between April and June 2022, GDP increased by 0. 6% in the euro area and 0.5% in the EU as a whole.
