The President of the Republic, Macky Sall, Grand Master of the National Order of the Lion, by decree n°2022-752 of April 1, 2022, appointed Mrs. Mame Gogo Banel Ndiave, Colonel Feue Engineer of Waters and Forests, Hunting and Conservation of CE Sols, to the rank of Knight (posthumously).
As a reminder, the former Technical Advisor No. 1 to the Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development (MEDD), Abdou Karim Sall, a graduate of the Faculty of Agronomy and Agricultural Sciences of the University of Dschang in Cameroon, is passed away on March 18 following an illness.
Summary of his professional career within the Ministry in charge of the Environment:
-1999-2001, she was assigned to the Permanent Secretariat of the Superior Council for Natural Resources and the Environment (CONSERE);
-2002 to date, she was the focal point of the Convention to Combat Desertification and member of the Committee for the review of the implementation of the Convention;
-2009, she was Coordinator of CONACILSS and the Fouta Djallon Massif;
-2010, she was appointed Technical Advisor to the Minister of State, Minister of the Environment, Nature Protection, Retention Basins and Artificial Lakes;
– September 1, 2011, she was assigned to the Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Economy and Finance;
-January 19, 2012, according to decree n°2021-121, she was appointed Director General of the National Agency for Energy Savings (ANEE), on the proposal of the Minister for International Cooperation, Air Transport and Infrastructure and Energy;
– June 10, 2013, she returned to the Ministry of the Environment and Sustainable Development and was appointed Special Advisor to the Director of Water and Forests, Hunting and Soil Conservation
-October 28, 2014, she was appointed Technical Advisor to the Minister of the Environment and Sustainable Development.
Civil servant very experienced in the workings of the Administration, she always knew how to defend her positions until the end.
The Family of the Ministry of the Environment and Sustainable Development and the large forest family will make its values theirs, to continue the common mission.
