His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and compassion to the family of late comedian Abderrahim Tounsi.

In this message, the Sovereign affirms having learned with deep sorrow the sad news of the death of the late Abderrahim Tounsi, may God be pleased with him in His vast Paradise.

In this painful circumstance, HM the King expresses to the members of the family of the deceased and, through them, to their loved ones and to the large artistic family of the late, His deep condolences and His sincere feelings of compassion, following the disappearance of the deceased. one of the pioneers of committed theatrical comedy in Morocco, known for its authenticity and creativity.

The Sovereign says To remember the human qualities and the creative spirit of the late Abderrahim Tounsi through the character of “Abderraouf”, who marked the distinguished artistic career of the deceased and earned him the admiration, for decades, of a large public passionate regarding his elegant and refined humorous style.

His Majesty implores the Most High to amply reward the deceased for the praiseworthy services rendered to art and to his Fatherland, to welcome him into His vast Paradise and to grant his loved ones patience and comfort.
