Latam Brasil signed an interline with the airline Airlink, an agreement through which one company can sell flights from the other, using its own code and allowing the operator airline to be easily identified. In this way, Latam began selling airline tickets to more than 40 destinations in Africa operated by its new South African partner.
The new options of the interline agreement between Latam and Airlink are available for flights scheduled from September 2nd and will be made possible by the São Paulo (Guarulhos) – Johannesburg route, which will be reopened by Latam with three weekly flights on the same date. The route between Brazil and South Africa will last 9 hours and will be operated on Boeing 787-900 aircraft, which accommodate 300 passengers (30 in Premium Business cabin, 57 in Premium Economy and 213 in Economy).
The destinations that will be offered through the partnership are: Nampula (Mozambique), Kasane (Botswana), Beira (Mozambique), Bulawayo (Zimbabwe), Dar es Salaam (Tanzania), Lubumbashi (Democratic Republic of Congo), Gaborone (Botswana) ), Jamestown (Saint Helena), Harare (Zimbabwe), Luanda (Angola), Lusaka (Zambia), Livingstone (Zambia), Maputo (Mozambique), Maseru (Lesotho), Maun (Botswana), Nairobi (Kenya), Ndola ( Zambia), Nosy Be (Madagascar), Pemba (Mozambique), Sikhuphe (Eswatini), Tete (Mozambique), Antananarivo (Madagascar), Vilanculos (Mozambique), Windhoek (Namibia), Walvis Bay (Namibia), Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) , Bloemfontein (South Africa), Cape Town (South Africa), Durban (South Africa), East London (South Africa), George (South Africa), Hoedspruit (South Africa), Kimberley (South Africa) South), Nelspruit (South Africa), Port Elizabeth (South Africa), Polokwane (South Africa), Pietermaritzburg (South Africa), Richards Bay (South Africa), Skukuza (South Africa), Upington (South Africa) South), Mthatha (South Africa), Sishen (South Africa).
