On Wednesday, the Basket Landes player announced the end of her career on her social networks. At 40, Céline Dumerc leaves a glorious legacy in the clubs in which she passed and in the France team.

On her social media, French basketball legend Céline Dumerc issued a statement stating that this time around she would be ending her career as soon as the Basket Landes season is over. “How lucky to live this umpteenth season in winning the Coupe de France, she recalls, knowing that we still have a quarter-final to play against Bourges”.

At 40, the Landes leader had already twice hesitated to end her career. “I have often been told: “Watch out for the year” too many, but that was the year too many that I needed”, she indicates.
