Initially, Yulimar Rojas was expected to wear the national tricolor. However, journalist Eduardo Pino reported that, «According to the official list of flag bearers who will be at the opening parade of Paris 2024, it will not be Yulimar Rojas who will be the female figure carrying the Venezuelan flag, but Anriquelis Barrios, along with weightlifter Julio Mayora».
Each of the delegations is currently preparing the final details to present each of its athletes, in what will be an original nautical parade on the River Seine, marking the first time that an inauguration will be held outside a stadium.
Athletes from each country have already been training since their arrival at the Olympic Village.
Each of the nations outlined a plan to follow with each of their athletes, with the main objective of achieving the long-awaited gold medal at the end of each of the disciplines.
Likewise, each of the different delegations previously established who will be the flag bearers, those athletes in charge of leading and representing the delegation of each participating country in the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games.
