LASK used the international break for a test once morest Budweis, which Linz won 3-2 in Pasching’s voestalpine stadium on Friday.
The decision was made within nine minutes: First, Florian Flecker coldly converted an assist from Robert Zulj from close range to take the lead (23′). Just three minutes later, Moses Usor gave the visiting goalkeeper no chance with a well-aimed shot from the right edge of the penalty area: the ball bounced into the goal from the inside post (26′).
In the 32nd minute, the right winger put together a brace: After a perfectly timed Zulj pass, Moses Usor only had to push in in the penalty area. Budweis shortened the lead before the break by Nicolas Penner, who converted a Stangl pass from Jakub Matousek (39′).
