Hey guys, how are you? Today the subject is classic italian cuisine that everyone loves: lasagna! It is vegetarian, Bolognesefour cheeses, with white sauce, red sauce, zucchini… The options are countless and all delicious!

But before we go to the recipes, let’s talk a little about the origin of lasagna. It emerged in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy around the 13th century. Layered pasta with filling is an adaptation of macaroni, which was already popular at the time. And then, from the 17th century, it began to be exported to other countries and, nowadays, it is a dish known and appreciated all over the world.

Now let’s get down to business: how to prepare a delicious lasagna at home? First, choose the pasta you like the most and cook it in boiling water until al dente. Then choose a filling of your choice and prepare the sauce. If you want, you can make a bechamel sauce, which is a classic white sauce, or a tomato sauce, which is the most used.

After that, just assemble the layers of lasagna in a refractory greased with olive oil. Alternate layers of dough, stuffing and sauce until you reach the top. Finish with a layer of grated cheese and take to the preheated oven to bake for about 30 minutes or until golden.
