“Let them form a party, run for elections, and if they win the elections, they will manage the social plans but from the State. I don’t think they will win any election, but it doesn’t matter, they have the right to run. What is not right is that the State delegates to organizations that no one voted for. Something so sensitive and so much money, moreover, ”Rodríguez Larreta responded during an interview with TN.
The phrase recalls that of Fernández de Kirchner when she was president and had targeted the corporations that sought to interfere in the political sphere and had expressed: “If you want to make government decisions, form a party and win the elections.”
Asked regarding the future of the social plans, and if he agrees with the vice president regarding the need to end the plans, Rodríguez Larreta said: “I agree that it must be rethought safely and from the root. Already the fact of removing the intermediation is a huge change for now they will not be able to force people to come to the demonstrations.
In addition, he spoke of the need to create a “broad agreement” with Peronism, independents and other parties to get out of the crisis. However, he ruled out the possibility of reaching an agreement with Kirchnerism: “The consensus is not with Kirchnerism.”
“You have to have a plan. The most serious thing now is that we do not know how we are going to be tomorrow or the day following. There is no plan, there is no direction. We don’t know what the growth model is for Argentina, how we are going to generate employment, how we are going to increase exports, which is key. All this problem we have with dollars is because little is exported”, analyzed the head of the Buenos Aires Government on the current economic crisis.
In that sense, he gave the example of Israel, where he was on tour in recent days, and the way to combat inflation: “In ’85 they had 450% inflation, five times Argentina today, and they were able to lower it. So yes you can. It is not that the exact same recipe can be brought, but there are lessons that can be taken and everyone says that the most important thing is that there was an agreement between the main political forces, not all of them, they drew up a policy and maintained it over time. That is the key. It cannot be that every president who arrives in Argentina is as if he were a founder”.
“It does not necessarily have to be an agreement with all the forces. I would not agree with Kirchnerism when they say that compulsive price agreements must be made as they did six months ago, and now we have twice the inflation, it didn’t work. Beyond Kirchnerism, we have to make a broader agreement with independent sectors, from Peronism, progressivism or the center-right,” Rodríguez Larreta proposed.
