Major operation at Zurich Airport! At 11.30 a.m. a threat was received once morest the Helvetic Airways flight (LX1343) from Warsaw to Zurich.
“The Embraer E190-E2 aircraft landed on runway 14 at Zurich Airport without incident. Shortly before 12 p.m., the passengers and the crew left the plane via the stairs, »says a spokesman for Helvetic Airways.
Specialists from the Zurich cantonal police then searched the plane. You didn’t find anything suspicious. There was no danger to the crew and passengers, says a spokesman for the Zurich cantonal police. The fire brigade was also on site with a large contingent.
Webcam disabled
The Federal Office for Civil Aviation FOCA does not want to comment on the incident and refers to the Zurich cantonal police. Zurich Airport has deactivated its webcams for four hours – screen for onlookers! Flight operations were not disrupted. There were no delays.
