Large quantities of drug pills seized in Saudi Arabia

Jeddah: The Saudi Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority has seized a large quantity of narcotics that were being smuggled into the country through two separate operations. They were captured at the Jeddah Islamic Port and the Dubai port. The Jeddah Islamic Port’s customs department has seized more than 20.6 million Captagon drugs, which were smuggled in plastic glove boxes.

4.23 lakh pills seized from Dubai port The drugs were found hidden in a spare tire attached to one of the freight trucks containing oranges that arrived here. The authority confirmed that three people had been arrested in the country in connection with the two incidents.
