Berlin/Potsdam – Thousands of people took a stand against the right in Potsdam on Sunday. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) and German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock (Greens) also came to the rally on the Altmarkt. Potsdam’s mayor Mike Schubert (SPD) called for the demonstration on the occasion of a meeting between radical right-wingers and AfD politicians. Schubert spoke of 10,000 participants. Demonstrators held up posters with slogans such as “Potsdam is colorful” and “We stick together.”
