The Zurich cantonal police, together with the Federal Office of Police fedpol, are conducting a large-scale search of a residential building in Stadel near Winterthur. The large contingent is necessary because it cannot be ruled out that there are chemicals in the house, reports «To you today». The Forensic Institute is also involved.
The investigations are being carried out on behalf of the Federal Prosecutor’s Office, which confirms the search. The reason for the house search was an investigation in Germany. “The federal prosecutor’s office does not provide any further information,” it said on request. A 20-minute request to the public prosecutor’s office in Karlsruhe is pending. Vehicles with German license plates are also on site.
