A miraculous birth.
Lara Fabian was born prematurely. In effect, following a brutal and prolonged fainting of her mother, she had to be brought out of the latter’s uterus. However, this fading was more complex than expected. In fact, it was eclampsia. It is a life-threatening seizure that particularly affects pregnant women.
Thereby, it was impossible to save her with her child. Confused, the doctors asked Lara’s father which of her and her mother were going to be sacrificed. Devastated, the latter would have burst into tears in front of the emergency room door. But after the caesarean section, the two women were both able to be saved. Thus, the tragedy was narrowly avoided.
