Lanja na Lebigane passed away – ><

Our rugby world is in mourning. Andriamasinjanahary Lanja Fiononantsoa or Lanjabe Lebigane, player of Makis de Mada, passed away on Monday, March 13, at the age of 21. Everyone was shocked to hear this sad news, especially those close to him. Lanjabe is strong and powerful now that he escaped from sudden death. He was one of those who really enjoyed rugby. He joined the US Ikopa club from the “cadet” category. He was called to form the Makis U20 national team when he went up to the “junior” category. He has defended the national honor in Kenya, the year 2021. Lanjabe is still unmarried and the youngest in his family. Will leave today at
1 o’clock in the followingnoon, Lanjabe’s body will be taken to the Andohatapenaka Catholic Church before being taken to his ancestral cemetery, Ambohidava Ambohimidasy, Ambohidrapeto. Lanjabe’s passing has left a complete void in Madagascar’s long-distance football because he was a simple player and had the skills himself.
He got along well with his fellow players, especially the managers of the Us Ikopa club. Lebigane has already placed his name in the TOP 20 or international competitions but unfortunately, he has now passed away. We at Taratra newspaper wish full condolences to the entire family of Lanja.
