Many languages are spoken at the Uttendorf elementary school – the elementary school sees itself as a diverse, colorful and open school. Diversity is seen as an opportunity for cooperation, cohesion, intercultural learning and the promotion of interests and talents. At the school, special work is being done on language promotion and the “Language Strengthens” project, supported by school development consultants from PH Upper Austria, Agnes Wiesinger and Anna-Katharina Hraschan. With these two “pillars”, the Uttendorf elementary school, headed by director Bettina Kobler, took part in the competition of the Austrian Language Competence Center (ÖSZ) and successfully returned to the Innviertel with the “European Language Seal”.
