LANGENLOIS – Even the new entrance area to the park of Schloss Haindorf – through the light-flooded connecting building of the two hotel areas left and right – sets completely new accents for the visitors: Walking through opens the view of the park – and now of a wine village with an airy pavilion -stalls in white and with the popular guest garden in the background. For “Langenlois blooomt” it was all summery decorated with beach accessories – a decoration that continued into the stage and grandstand area. So the perfect scenery was prepared for the performance of “Popwal” as the opening act and “Benzko” as the main act on July 1, 2023 on the open-air stage in the park of the brand new renovated Haindorf Castle.
Even Popwal then captivated his fans in a one-hour performance – without caring regarding musical barriers, with a catchy music mix and clear hints of funk and rock, with lyrics that question clichés and the band’s attitude towards life express. The Carinthian band was particularly celebrated at “Langenlois bloomt”.
Tim Bendzko (“Save the World Quickly”) has developed from a young hope at talent competitions to a real star of the music scene in the last fifteen years. A large fan community came to Langenlois to see him live on stage. And the expectations were not disappointed – Bendzko delighted his audience, who might experience him almost up close in front of the stage or see and hear him from a distance in the fully occupied grandstand.
As at the two Langenlois Blooomt performances in previous years, the audience was a mixed bag, families with children came, many young people of course, but also older students who obviously had great friends with young music on stage.
In 2024, as became known during the concert in Haindorf, the Austrian dialect band “Granada” from Graz will be part of “Langenlois blooomt”.
