“Lane Hutson Named Assistant Captain for Boston University Terriers: CH Prospect Continues Development with Leadership Role”

2023-05-11 17:42:35

Last year, Lane Hutson absolutely destroyed everything in the NCAA. The small defender, a second-round choice of the CH in the last draft, scored 48 points in 39 games, which is downright one of the best seasons for a defender of his age in the history of the circuit.

That said, in 2023-24, he will be back with the Boston University Terriers to continue his development. However, the good news is that he takes the lead within his team, while the Terriers have just announced that the young Hutson will be an assistant to captain Case McCarthy next season.

Luke Tuch, another CH prospect, will also have the chance to have an A on his jersey.

This is great news for Hutson, who earned a letter on his jersey in his second year on the US college circuit. He was a great leader on the ice for his team last year, and next season he should earn even more responsibility.

And obviously, this will be the case in the locker room too.

As for Tuch, he’s been rolling around in the area for a few years now. Now 21, he will play his fourth season in the NCAA next year and he will be tasked with being a leader within the group.

His 20 points in 40 games last season leave room for improvement, but that doesn’t stop him from being a good leader.

Also remember that the two youngsters will be at the World Hockey Championship, which will get under way tomorrow. This will be an opportunity for them to gain experience once morest NHL-caliber guys.

In short, (another) good news for the two hopefuls of CH, who will try to lead the Terriers to another good season next year. We wish them, at least.

A lot of

– Effectively.

– To listen.
