In Spain, they were shocked by the serious incident that happened yesterday, when the father of Barcelona star Lamin Yamal, Munir Nasrawi, was stabbed. According to ‘Mundo Deportivo’, Nasrawi was stabbed three times, including close to the lungs, but did not need surgery, his condition is stable, his life is not in danger and the doctors are optimistic about the recovery process.
After referring to the attempted murder for the first time yesterday on his Instagram account and wrote: “Thank you everyone for the support, now I’m in a better situation. A big hug to everyone”, Nasarawai gave his first interview after the incident to ‘El Chiringito’ this morning (Friday), in which he said that he is expected to leave the hospital in the next few hours and be released to his home.
“I’m in much better shape, thank God. I need to be calmer for everyone’s sake, for my sake and for the sake of my family, I have no choice. I hope that justice will take its course, that is the most important thing,” he said.

Lamin’s father Yamal admitted that during the incident he was stabbed three times: “I was between life and death. Was I scared? Of course I was scared, like any human being. I hope I will get over it as soon as possible. Thank you very much to everyone for your interest.”
The assumption of the Spanish police is that the confrontation between Lamin Yamal’s father and his assailants began quite some time ago and it is very possible that there was a quarrel between them a few hours before the attack. Several eyewitnesses claimed that Nasrawi was walking his dog in the neighborhood and water was thrown at him from a balcony, which caused an argument that led to a fight. After several hours, at night, the same people who are related to the incident from the afternoon allegedly stabbed the father of the Barcelona star more than once, when he could not defend himself. An investigation is currently underway.
