Inspired by the vibrant blues of the Sardinian seas and skies, Lamborghini presents a Huracán Sterrato “Opera Unica”: a unique work of art with an exclusive glass-effect painting process created by Lamborghini’s Ad Personam department.

Presented to Lamborghini guests at a VIP dinner for the brand’s 60th anniversary in exclusive Porto Cervo, where the Lamborghini Lounge returns during the summer months, the exclusive Huracán Sterrato also celebrates Lamborghini’s anniversary; the iconic and vibrant colors of the brand; and the company’s exceptional experience in creating unique paint hues and processes over decades.

The Huracán Sterrato Opera Unica exudes the inimitable and fearless character of the supercar capable of perfectly taking on the paved and unpaved roads of the Emerald Coast, while its unique hand-painted exterior draws inspiration from the seascapes and rich colors from Sardinia.

The three-color hand-painted process creates a crystalline frozen liquid effect: Blu Amnis is used as the first solid paint color, and then a second Blu Grifo paint and a third Blu Fedra color are applied by hand, in a process which lasts more than 370 hours.

The Huracán Sterrato was born to defy expectations, offering a supercar that goes beyond the conventional.

The one and only Huracán Sterrato Opera Unica takes this to another level and, in the Lamborghini tradition, draws attention and raises questions as an art form,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Lamborghini President and CEO.

“Lamborghini is always moved by the beauty and colors of Sardinia, and this is the perfect opportunity to experiment with a new paint process, explore the possibilities of our Ad Personam customization, and then present this very special Sterrato to our customers and guests. in the setting that inspired the blue glass effect.”

The exterior of the “Opera Unica” is finished in matt black paint, both on the roof and on the sills and the covers of the headlights, the front and rear splitters and the fenders. Its muscular and reinforced wheel arch protection is also painted in matt black, enhancing the 19″ Morus matt black wheels.

Inside, the Opera Unica is as exclusive as the exterior: with exposed carbon fiber, the sport seats, door panels and console are trimmed in Blu Delphinus leather; the dashboard, in Alcantara of the same colour; and the steering wheel combines both materials.

The lighter shade of Celeste Phoebe leather is used on adjacent panels, trims and embroidery, including the Lamborghini logo, recalling the blue of the exterior and maritime flair.

A graphic on the seat panel is laser-engraved in silver, and even the start/stop button cover on the center console is finished in the crystal effect of exterior paint.

Like all the Huracán Sterrato to be manufactured, the interior bears a special plate that identifies it as one of the 1,499 copies of a limited series, as well as special plates that celebrate the “Opera Unica Porto Cervo 2023”, finished in glass effect paint. , and the 60th anniversary of Lamborghini.

Unveiled at Lamborghini’s VIP client dinner at the Cala di Volpe hotel, the arrival of the Huracán Sterrato Opera Unica was as spectacular as its crystalline blue paint: the 120 guests, who sampled Matsuhisa Nobu’s cuisine in a blue-themed setting maritime, were surprised and captivated by the presentation of the vehicle on a floating platform on the water’s edge, given by the President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, Stephan Winkelmann.

A group of artists and dancers introduced the Opera Unica presentation with a special video that narrated the process of creating the vehicle.

After its debut, the Huracán Sterrato Opera Unica will be exhibited at the Lamborghini Lounge in Porto Cervo. The Lamborghini Lounge, with its own Ad Personam customization area, will be open until September 10, with concerted visits and a range of vehicles that includes the Huracán Tecnica and the Urus S Super-SUV for test drives on the Emerald Coast .
