Lamballe Armor. It’s summer ! Discover the program of the Estivales for the month of July

Exhibitions, nocturnal guided tours, the return of the Régalades or even fireworks… Summertime will take place throughout the summer of 2022 at Lamballe-Armor (Cotes-d’Armor). Discover the program for the month of July:

Nocturnal guided tours

Several nocturnal guided tours (from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.) are offered by the tourist office. Fridays 15 and 29 July, visits are offered around the theme “Laballe in the Middle Ages” to discover the history of the city and its heritage.

On Friday July 22, it will be “personalities from Lamballais” who will be honoured. (Paying: adults, €5; children, €2. Free for children under 6. By reservation on 02 57 25 22 22. Departure from the tourist office at the stud farm)

Coastal Wednesdays

In Morieux, Coastal Wednesdays activities take place all summer long from July 20th. A first day of entertainment marked by an orienteering race at Place de Béliard with a free snack. A guided tour of the Saint-Gobrien church is organized at 7:45 p.m. The religious building will welcome from 9 p.m. the duo Kerdinn (violinist and guitarist) who will take you on a journey from one style to another from Vivaldi to Astor Piazzolla.

On Friday, July 27, another visit to the Saint-Gobrien church will take place at 7:45 p.m. This will be followed by a concert by Clarisse Lavanant at 9 p.m.

Fireworks, Thursday July 13

It will be the party at the lake, Thursday July 13th. The 26th edition of the Hike of Hope accompanied by its six circuits will animate the site with the “hike village” and a restaurant area. A concert by Bob and Flanaghan will take place from 8:15 p.m. And for the highlight of the show will take place at 11 p.m. with a fireworks display from the lake.

The return of the Regalades

After two years without one of the most anticipated events in Lamballes, it’s time for Les Régalades which will begin on Thursday July 21, on the market square with an introduction to Breton dance, a concert in Royal Street, and a fest-noz from 9:30 p.m. A new festive and musical evening will take place on Thursday July 28 (initiation to Breton dance, Hop hop hop crew and fest-noz).

Stud Thursdays

Guided tours, horse shows, horse-drawn carriage rides… Thursdays at the stud farm will take place from July 21 to August 25.

The Merchants Market

More than 100 exhibitors will take part in the trade sale on Thursday 21, Friday 22 and Saturday 23 July. Activities for children as well as on-site catering are planned.

Visits to the medieval garden and the pottery museum

Discover or rediscover the medieval garden of the Saint-Jean church thanks to the guided tours offered from 2 p.m. on Thursday 21 and 28 July. The pottery museum, located on avenue des potiers also offers visits at 2 and 5.30 p.m., Thursday July 28.

Exhibition, circus…

A circus show will take place on Tuesday, July 26 at 9 p.m. at the Saint-Aaron church. The Planguenoual village hall will host an “Art indigo” exhibition until July 14, and a theater evening on Saturday July 16, with At the boarding school for the still young.

Flash visits to the Mathurin-Méheut museum

Every Thursday, at 2 p.m., let yourself be tempted by a 20-minute flash visit presenting one or two works in particular by Mathurin-Méheut. Then take the opportunity to stroll through the new museum housed in a stud farm stable. Normal rate, by reservation on 02 96 31 19 99.
