The Baltimore Ravens and star quarterback Lamar Jackson agreed to a tentative agreement to a five-year contract on Thursday, ending a bargaining saga that has dominated the team’s offseason.
According to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport, the deal worth a total of $260 million will make him the highest-paid quarterback in football history.
The Ravens announced the deal hours before the first round of the NFL Draft.
